> I think you will find the ‘Why?’ question is often posed on many fetish boards. Answering it really is like opening a can of worms. I don’t even think there is any hard and fast answer. I like many on this board I’m sure, have pondered over this question many a time. This whole sub-fetish was once summed up perfectly for me in what I think was an American public health advert. I saw it on British TV on one of those programmes that basically looks at advertising from different countries around the world. It showed a sophisticated attractive woman in a red dress smoking. As she smoked she began to be covered in black tar until she was completely covered. The tag line was something like “If what happened on the inside happened on the outside etc etc” Incidentally any you guys stateside ever seen this? I only saw it the once but I would love an mpeg of it. Anyway I digress, but my point is I seem to be drawn to that type of fatal contradiction. The outwardly beauty and the inside hidden decay. If you read some of my stories or other posts you will find many of the factors and the type of woman I am drawn to expressed in them, but as to the cold stark why? Well I struggle with that question as much as the next man/woman. Another factor that also surfaces with me is the deception. My fiancée is aware that I find her smoking attractive, but she has no idea of my real dark desires for her, she would undoubtedly think I have only her best interests at heart, and generally that is the case, but as for her smoking and continued health, well in that vital area I cant really say that I do. Now I love her enjoy her company, laugh with her, comfort her etc etc and yet I take such sexual satisfaction as smoking slowly reduces the quality of her life and quite possibly in time takes her life in full. Where is the logic and sense in that? I’m unfortunately not really answering your question here. Maybe if I took the time to read up on some psychology and influences on human behaviour then maybe I could give you more of an insight. As I stands I’m no expert in this area but maybe it’s best not too spend too long pondering over the why? And just accept for better or worse that you are a dark-sider. As a footnote to this. All my dark desires for her ultimate destruction are of this moment just that: Fantasies. If and when they become reality will I really be able to take such satisfaction watching the woman I love suffer such a fate? It’s such a complicated, contradictory, mind-numbing fetish you could go mad trying to rationalise it. Pete In 1995 I discovered Smoking from all Sides. At first, like many others I was thrilled to see that my fetish was not unique. I then proceeded to post my story Nurse Regina, and indeed it was a poor attempt at best, but it did encompass what the Dark Side is. WTF? > I have pictures on my computer, slideshows that display beautiful women breathing smoke, side-by-side with diseased lungs extracted from women. This is very stimulating! Once again WTF? It always has been stimulating, not just women smoking but... women breathing > smoke, aware of the danger, yet gulping smoke day after day. Addiction? Yes but also a feeding of the lungs that is more than nicotine, a somehow desperate resignation that this will be their death of choice. I have read enough of darkside material to come to the conclusion that we are an intelligent, sensitive and extremely > detail-oriented subset of the smoking fetish. Anyway, I am trying to understand this shit, even as I peruse pathology sites with case studies of women with lung cancer induced from smoking dying in their early forties. Reading stories on Nicotine Vicitms and many other sites, perplexed by the resulting stimulation. Watching my wife take such a large drag from her Marlboro Red that it seems to trickle from her nose for days, and she has to take a large breath just to replace the oxygen from her initial drag that can't quite be expelled from her weakened emphysematous lungs. Ok, enough. Someone please give me some feedback, I will write improved stories, > > suggest interesting links and such... |
