    Dave,

First, Thank you for sharing your blissful life! Meaning no disrespect to the other authors, but for me, stories of real smokers are much more exciting than fantasies of woman that want to destroy their lungs (personally I know several heavy smoking women but none who want lung cancer or emphysema).
PLEASE, write more!! I would love to hear about your girl friends smoking, breathing, coughing, and general health (her having to pause to catch her breath during love making and having a cigarette on top of that was a great account).
I was in a 5 year relationship, which I, in retrospect, mistakenly ended. She had been a smoker for 10 years when we met (she was 23) and was a 2 pack a day Marlboro 100 smoker. She was 5'3", 110 pounds (who used smoking to control her weight). She had brown hair, a nice figure but smaller breasts (but then again, I was more attracted to what were under her breasts). I first became interested in her when I saw her chain smoking in a local bar and when we started dating was when she first beginning to feel the effects of her smoking, and, although she complained often and talked of quitting, she never did. She truly loved smoking and it showed in that she took big drags and inhaled long and deep. Your post brought back memories since I too was often woken up in the middle of the night with her coughing and she too would often, but not always, smoke one or two cigarettes, so "she could sleep" before returning to bed. She also had to sleep with her head propped up on two pillows so "she could breath". We too also started having sex with her on top because, like you, she said she could not breath with my weight on top of her. She never smoked however while having sex .. you are a lucky guy.
The least amount of physical exertion would cause her to be out of breath, so any activity we shared was exciting. She wanted to learn to play tennis once (figuring that exercising doing something fun would be easier for her). She smoked right up until we stepped onto the court. I had to untuck my shirt to hide my arousal as I watched her panting, coughing, and holding her chest between volleys. After less than a half hour she collapsed on a bench on the side of the court, wheezing and coughing, saying that she needed a break. She soon lit a new cigarette than began to complain about her smoking and health: "I've got to quit smoking, my lungs are getting bad", said with a half smile while rubbing her chest, wheezing and coughing. "It's ridiculous, I'm too young to get so out of breath so fast". I recall that I was worried then that she was serious and would try to quit but later realized that she was far too addicted for that.
She used to love to see how many smoke rings she could make with a single drag, she would take a long pull, inhale exceptionally deep, exhale a little then begin. Each time, by the end (her record was 16) she would put her hand to her chest and practically gasped for air. She would then be panting and even coughing, on occasion, when she did not do well, she'd even state, "let me catch my breath and try again".
One final account that I'll share at this time. After dating 4 years we began to fight frequently. The stress of each fight would cause her to practically chain smoke and she'd go through over 3 packs in a day. The extra smoking on already dirty lungs would cause her to cough even more and more violently, wheeze, and get even more easily winded. On one occasion, when she was winded just from arguing and stomping around, she lit a new cigarette and wheezed load when she inhaled, "Do you hear that? With all the stress you've been putting me under I've been smoking like a fiend .. my lungs can't handle that, they're already black as shit, so I hope you're happy that the cancer that I'm probably causing now is all your fault."
