i thought i should tell you guys about my 41/2ppd girlfriend, kate, when we went to the cinema the other night. we went to see pearl harbour, quite a long film, cos i wanted to see it. kate wasn't so keen on the idea because she knew that 3 hours without a ciggie is not comfortable. she smoked several of her red marlboros before we went in, and seeing as we went to see the 8:00 showing of the film, her evening cough was well underway. she had two cigs in ths smoking area otside the cinema room before and hacked away repeatedly. once we got in and sat down, she smelt so gorgeus in the clean smoke free air of the cinema room. she began to cough in the cinema, really loud, and swallowed back the phlegm. she said she was worried she would cough throughout the film. she continued to hack away, and she looked in real pain. so once the lights had gone down (we were at the back) i loosened her bra and rubbed her chest just above her breasts, which calmed the cough. about half way through the film, her hand began to shake a little and i could feel her heart pumping faster. she suddenly got a huge coughing fit, really loud and chesty, i could hear a hell of a lot of movement in her chest, and she couldn't catch her breath. she suddenly got up and ran (a rare occurence for her!) out of the cinema room. i followed and when i got out she was lighting a ciggie, and massaging her chest. she puffed away, and weezed "i couldn't take it any longer." the cig calmed her cough and once back in the film she was ok til the end, although lit up pretty quick after. This is one of the things which really turns me on - i love the coughing and the damage and all that but i also adore the addiction side - the way she cannot be without cigs and feels awful if she is. please respond to this, anyone who agrees!
